- Please try to get the Parent/Teacher Conference Form returned to school ASAP. I have these forms from 11 students (Thanks!). I still need the forms back from 9 students.

Homeroom Assignments:
- Reading Logs will be due next Monday, October 19, 2009.
- Spelling Homework will be due next Tuesday, October 20, 2009.
- The next reading and spelling tests will be on Thursday, October 22, 2009.
Math Classes:
Today we used the NetBook Cart!! We now have a cart with 30 mini laptops. The students will be utilizing this fabulous resource in many different ways. Today, the students connected to the internet wirelessly in order to access www.studyisland.com.
The students were excited to use this technology, and they did a nice job handling the machines with care. Good Job!!
We have just finished Chapter 2, and we are preparing to take the 2nd math test of the year. The Chapter 2 Test will be on Monday, October 19, 2009. The format will be similar to the last test (Multiple Choice and short answer). Please help me by reminding you child to prepare in advance for this assessment. We will review the skills from Chapter 2 tomorrow (10-16-09). A great resource for students to use at home is www.classzone.com. This website was created by the textbook company. I like to suggest taking the practice test online.
