- Spelling: Lesson 1 Spelling Test is tomorrow. Complete page 12 in Spelling Practice Book and write each spelling word 3 times to practice for the test. Here are the Lesson 1 spelling words - pledge, glasses, messages, public, planet, themselves, connect, guess, magic, recommend, college, grabbed, compliments, optimism, success, impress, solve, bronze, pulse, crumple.
- Social Studies: Chapter 1 Vocabulary Test is Friday, September 18. Here are the vocabulary words - latitude, longitude, global grid, equator, prime meridian, cardinal directions, intermediate directions, map key, map scale, and hemisphere.
- Writing: Neighborhood Map final draft is due on Friday, September 18. The final draft MUST - 1. be written neatly on composition paper or typed at home, 2. be at least 3 paragraphs long, 3. have a clear beginning, middle, and end.
- Reading Log: Complete 4 log entries and hand in on Monday, September 21 by 8:50 am. Make sure to have your parent or guardian sign your log before you hand it in.
